The powerhouse music blog Consequence of Sound declared, “Filligar is a breath of fresh air in a genre that is growing stale.” Within the past year, Filligar has headlined sold out shows at some of the most acclaimed venues in the country: NYC's Bowery Ballroom, Chicago's Lincoln Hall, and LA's Troubadour, among others. They have supported acts such as The Black Keys, My Morning Jacket, and Jonathan Tyler & the Northern Lights, and are currently in rotation at KCRW. This summer, the guys debuted in the United Kingdom to a wildly enthusiastic reception—with a live review by Clixie that likewise dubbed Filligar as “one the USA’s most exciting young bands.”    Filligar’s highly anticipated next album is slated for release in early 2012.
